An armed citizen reportedly confronted a gunman during a deadly shooting at an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Witness Lane Koehn said he was inside his vehicle when he spotted a man carrying what appeared to be an AR-style rifle in the drive-thru area.
Then another person entered the confrontation.
According to Koehn’s account, an armed citizen carrying a pistol stepped forward and exchanged gunfire with the suspected shooter.
Those terrifying seconds may have created an opportunity for people trapped nearby to escape.
Employees could reportedly be seen running from the restaurant as the shooting continued outside.
Amid the confusion, Koehn witnessed an injured woman wearing an In-N-Out uniform being helped across the parking lot.
She appeared to be seriously wounded.
Koehn said he and the armed citizen remained with her while waiting for emergency medical personnel to arrive.
Authorities quickly flooded the surrounding area.
Residents were initially instructed to shelter in place as police worked to determine whether an ongoing threat remained.
Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks later announced that the immediate danger had ended and the shelter-in-place order could be lifted.
Two people were reported killed in the attack, while several others were injured.
One of those who died was reportedly an In-N-Out employee.
In-N-Out President Lynsi Snyder later expressed grief over the loss of one of the company’s associates, describing her as someone who had been serving customers when her life was taken.
