The Price of Betrayal: A Woman’s Revenge on Her Husband and His Mistress

Posted on May 11, 2025 By Aga Co No Comments on The Price of Betrayal: A Woman’s Revenge on Her Husband and His Mistress

A shocking story of betrayal, deception, and revenge. A woman, pregnant with twins, is offered an unimaginable deal, only to outsmart her cheating husband and his mistress in the most powerful way.

I was heavily pregnant with twins when my world fell apart.

I was folding tiny onesies, imagining baby names, when my phone buzzed.

My heart raced as I saw it was a message from my husband’s boss, Vivian. I feared the worst had happened to Eddie at work, but what I read was even more devastating.

I opened the message, expecting news of an accident, but instead found a photo of Eddie lying shirtless in a strange bed, smirking at the camera.

If I had any doubt about its meaning, the caption cleared it up: “It’s time you knew. He’s mine.”

My hands went cold. The babies inside me kicked, sensing my distress. Eddie was cheating on me—with his boss.

I immediately called Eddie, but it went straight to voicemail. I tried again and again, but he didn’t answer.

By then, it felt like the twins were using my bladder as a trampoline. I sank slowly onto the couch and placed a hand on my belly.

“Easy, babies,” I whispered. “Mama will protect you, always. No matter what happens, I know Daddy—Eddie—won’t abandon you, even if he’s betraying me.”

I never could have imagined how wrong I was.

When Eddie came home that evening, he wasn’t alone.

Vivian strutted in like she owned the place. Tall, confident, dressed in designer clothes that probably cost more than our rent. The kind of woman who commanded attention without trying.

“Eddie… what is this?” I asked, standing in the living room, glaring at them both, trying to stay strong even though I felt anything but.

Eddie sighed. “It’s simple, Laura. I’m in love with Vivian, so I’m leaving you. Let’s be adults and not make a scene, okay?”

The words hit me like physical blows. Each one landing exactly where it hurt the most.

“You can’t be serious,” I whispered. “We’re having babies in two months.”

“Life happens,” he said with a shrug, as if he were discussing dinner plans, not abandoning his pregnant wife.

Then Vivian crossed her arms, tapping her perfectly manicured nails on her designer blazer.

“And since this is Eddie’s apartment, you’ll need to move out by the end of the week.”

I saw red. “Are you both insane? I have nowhere to go! I’m carrying HIS children!”

“Twins, right?” Vivian asked, studying my belly with cold calculation. “Or is it triplets? You’re looking… swollen. I think I can offer you a solution.”

Her lips curved into what she thought was a smile. “I’ll rent you a house and cover all your expenses, but I want one of your babies.”

My blood ran cold. “What?!”

“I want a baby,” she continued, twirling a finger at my belly. “But I’m not willing to ruin my body for it. You’ll never manage raising twins alone. This is a win-win for everyone.”

She stroked Eddie’s chest, and he leaned into her touch. “I’ll raise the child as my own. They’ll have the best nannies, the best schools… and you’ll have a roof over your head. It’s a fair deal.”

Eddie nodded, as if bartering one of our babies was reasonable.

I couldn’t breathe. How could they turn my children into bargaining chips? I wanted to kick them both out, but I was cornered. I had no family, no friends to turn to.

Then, a plan formed in my mind.

“I have nowhere else to go,” I whispered, forcing fake tears to my eyes. “I’ll agree to your deal, but I have one condition.”

Vivian smirked. “Smart girl. What’s the condition?”

“I want to choose which baby you get,” I said, sniffling and looking down, as if ashamed. “Give me some time with them so I can decide which one has a better life with you.”

She exchanged a look with Eddie, thinking they’d won. I could see it in their eyes.

“Fine,” Vivian said, “but don’t take too long. Once they’re born, we’ll take the one you don’t want.”

I nodded, wiping away a fake tear. “And… one more thing.”

Vivian sighed. “What now?”

“You’ll buy me a house, not rent it,” I said firmly. “I need security. If you don’t agree, I’ll walk away, and you’ll never see either of them.”

Eddie scoffed, but Vivian raised a hand to stop him.

“You’re pushy, but I’ll agree,” she said. “It saves me the trouble of finding another solution. But you better hold up your end of the deal.”

I nodded, playing the part of the broken, helpless woman they thought I was.

But inside? I was grinning. They had no idea what was coming.

The next few months were a test of patience.

Vivian bought me a three-bedroom house in a quiet neighborhood. She and Eddie didn’t even visit the place until the day we signed the papers.

I sighed with relief as we left the realtor’s office. Step one was complete, and they were still clueless.

I kept them updated on doctor’s appointments and let Vivian feel my belly when she visited, cooing over “her” baby. I played the part of the conflicted mother, torn over which baby to keep.

It was all a game—buying time while I prepared for the final blow.

I went into labor on a Tuesday night. I texted Vivian when I left for the hospital, but made sure the nurses knew I didn’t want either her or Eddie in the delivery room.

I heard them complaining outside at one point, but the contractions were coming fast and hard, and I couldn’t make out what they were saying.
