Dayle Haddon, Iconic Supermodel and Actress, Dies at 76 from Carbon Monoxide Leak
Dayle Haddon, the internationally renowned supermodel who graced the covers of countless magazines and made memorable appearances in film and television, has passed away at the age of 76. Authorities report that she died on Friday in Solebury, Pennsylvania, due to an apparent carbon monoxide leak.
According to the Solebury Township Police Department, Haddon was found deceased Friday morning in a second-floor bedroom of a detached office and in-law suite at a private residence. Nearby, 76-year-old Walter J. Blucas—father of actor Marc Blucas—was discovered unconscious and remains in critical condition at a local hospital.
Police confirmed that the incident was caused by a malfunctioning flue and exhaust pipe in a gas heating system, which led to a deadly carbon monoxide leak.
“The officers and members of the Solebury Township Police Department wish to extend our sincere condolences to the Haddon and Blucas families,” the department said in an official statement. “This tragic event is a sobering reminder of the importance of taking carbon monoxide safety precautions in our homes.”
The residence where the incident occurred is owned by Haddon’s daughter, journalist and TV personality Ryan Haddon, and her husband, Hallmark actor Marc Blucas.

Born on May 26, 1948, in Montreal, Quebec, Dayle Haddon began her artistic journey as a ballet dancer before transitioning to modeling, where she quickly rose to international fame.
