I felt like I was floating as I prepared to walk down the aisle. My heart was full, my makeup and hair were done to perfection, my wedding dress fit like a dream, and I was ready to begin a new chapter with the man I loved. What I didn’t know was that my world was about to be turned upside down.
When the doorbell rang, I assumed it was Tessa, my maid of honor, arriving early. But when I opened the door, I was met not by her—but by a baby, fast asleep in a car seat, with a note pinned to her tiny blanket.
