A husband and wife were celebrating their 50th anniversary.

Posted on September 3, 2025 By Aga Co No Comments on A husband and wife were celebrating their 50th anniversary.

Their three successful children all agreed to join them for a very special Sunday dinner.
The house smelled of roast chicken and fresh bread, the dining table decorated with flowers and shining silverware. The parents had been eagerly waiting for this gathering, because it wasn’t just any Sunday—it was their wedding anniversary.

“Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad!” exclaimed the eldest son as he rushed through the door, still wearing his scrubs. He was a surgeon, always busy, always in demand. “Sorry I’m late,” he added breathlessly, setting his medical bag down by the sofa. “There was an emergency at the hospital. I came straight here. I didn’t even have time to buy you a gift.”

The father smiled warmly, shaking his head. “Not to worry, son. The important thing is that we’re all together today. Gifts don’t matter—your presence does.”

A few minutes later, son number two arrived, looking sharp in his tailored suit. He was a lawyer, confident and polished, his phone buzzing nonstop with reminders and calls from clients. “You and Mom look fantastic, Dad,” he said, giving them both a quick hug. “I literally just flew in from Los Angeles between depositions, and I couldn’t find a moment to shop for a present.”

“It’s okay,” the father reassured him gently. “We’re just glad you made it home. That’s all we need.”

Finally, the daughter, their youngest, burst through the door with her usual energy. A successful marketing executive, she was juggling deadlines, presentations, and frequent business trips. “Hello, hello! And Happy Anniversary!” she said, kissing both parents on the cheek. “I feel terrible, but my boss is sending me out of town tomorrow. I’ve been packing nonstop, and I just didn’t get a chance to buy you anything.”

The parents exchanged a glance, smiling knowingly. Dinner was filled with laughter, stories, and teasing, the kind of joyful chaos that only a family reunion can bring. After dessert, when everyone was full and relaxed, the father cleared his throat and said:

“There’s something your mother and I have wanted to tell you for a long time. You see, when we were younger, we were very poor. Times were hard. Even so, we worked and saved to send each of you to college. We always loved each other deeply, but in the busyness of life, we never actually found the time to get married.”

The three children froze in shock, their eyes widening. Then, all at once, they gasped:

“You mean… we’re bastards?!”

The father leaned back in his chair, grinning from ear to ear. “Yep,” he said with a chuckle, “and cheap ones, too!”

The whole room erupted in laughter, the surprise turning into one of those unforgettable family stories that would be told again and again.

LOL!!
Hope this joke made you smile and brightened your day!

And here’s another one…

A police officer was patrolling late at night in a well-known lovers’ lane, where couples often parked to “spend time together.” He noticed a car with its interior light on. Curious, he walked closer.

To his surprise, inside the car sat a young man in the driver’s seat, completely absorbed in reading a computer magazine. In the back seat was a young woman, calmly knitting a sweater with colorful yarn.

The officer frowned, scratching his head. Something didn’t add up. A young couple, alone, in a car, late at night in such a spot—and instead of romance, there was reading and knitting?

He tapped lightly on the window. The driver rolled it down politely. “Uh, yes, officer?”

“What are you doing here?” asked the cop, still puzzled.

“Well, sir,” the young man replied earnestly, “I’m just reading my magazine.”

The officer pointed toward the young woman. “And her? What’s she doing back there?”

The young man glanced back casually. “Oh, she’s knitting a pullover sweater.”

Now the officer was truly baffled. He had never seen anything like this. Shaking his head, he asked, “Son, how old are you?”

The young man straightened up. “I’m 22, sir.”

“And her? How old is she?” the officer pressed, growing suspicious.
