Authorities in Muskogee County, Oklahoma, have confirmed a case that has shocked and outraged the community. DNA testing has revealed with 99% certainty that Dustin Walker, the stepfather of an 11-year-old girl, is the biological father of her newborn baby. The District Attorney’s Office announced the results on August 25, calling the situation one of the most disturbing cases of abuse they have ever investigated.
The girl gave birth over the weekend without medical care, professional assistance, or emotional support. Investigators say she was living in the home of Dustin Walker and her mother, Cherie Walker.
