Three brothers age 92, 94 and 96 live in a house together.

Three brothers, ages 92, 94, and 96, live together in a cozy, slightly creaky house filled with memories, old furniture, and the faint aroma of coffee that seems to linger in every corner. One chilly evening, the 96-year-old decides it’s time for a bath. He draws a warm bath, testing the water with his hand, and finally dips a foot in. Then, he freezes and calls out in his slightly trembling voice, “Was I getting in or out of the bath?”

From downstairs, the 94-year-old pauses in whatever he’s doing and replies with genuine concern, “I don’t know, I’ll come up and see.” He starts to climb the stairs slowly, one step at a time, gripping the railing as he goes. Midway, he pauses, scratches his head, and yells, “Wait… was I going up the stairs or coming down?”

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, the 92-year-old sits quietly at the table, sipping his morning coffee and watching the unfolding confusion with mild amusement. He shakes his head slowly, muttering to himself, “I sure hope I never get that forgetful.” After a pause, he raps his knuckles on the wooden table for good luck, just in case. Then, without missing a beat, he calls out, “I’ll come up and help both of you… as soon as I see who’s at the door.”

Later, four retired old men are walking down a quiet street in Cooktown. They wander casually, taking in the warm afternoon sun and the familiar sights of their small town. As they turn a corner, a bright, colorful sign catches their eyes: Oldtimer’s Bar – All Drinks for 10 Cents!

They stop in their tracks, blinking at each other. One scratches his head and says, “This must be too good to be true.” But curiosity wins. They step inside, immediately greeted by a cozy, dimly lit bar that smells faintly of polished wood and aged spirits. Behind the counter stands the bartender, a man with a friendly grin and eyes that twinkle with mischief. “Come on in, gentlemen, and let me pour you one! What will it be?” he asks, his voice echoing across the small room.

Scanning the shelves, the men see a fully stocked bar: bottles of all shapes and sizes, glasses sparkling in the soft light. Each of them decides on a martini. Moments later, the bartender brings over four perfectly chilled, expertly shaken martinis. “That’ll be 10 cents each, please,” he says cheerfully.

The four men stare at him in disbelief, then at each other, shaking their heads in amazement. “Well, this is the luckiest day ever,” one whispers. They pay the 40 cents, sip their drinks, and nod in quiet approval at how delicious they are. Naturally, they order another round, just to be sure this wasn’t a fluke. Once again, the bartender serves four flawless martinis and repeats, “That’s 40 cents, please.”

After finishing the second round, curiosity finally overwhelms them. “How can you afford to serve martinis this good for only 10 cents each?” one asks, eyebrows raised. The bartender chuckles and replies, “I’m a retired tailor from Sydney. Owning a bar was always a dream. Last year, I won $25 million in the lottery, so I opened this place. Ten cents per drink—same quality for everyone.”

Impressed, the men raise their glasses. “Wow… that’s incredible!” one says. They sip and savor each taste, glancing around the bar and noticing seven people sitting silently at the far end. These seven haven’t touched a drink the entire time, nor have they ordered anything.

Curious, one of the men points at them and asks, “Who are they, and why aren’t they drinking?”

The bartender smiles knowingly. “Oh, those are all grey nomads from the caravan park,” he explains. “They’re just waiting for happy hour when drinks are half price.”

The four men burst into laughter, clinking glasses and shaking their heads at their luck. The absurdity of life, the joy of unexpected fortune, and the humor of timing hit all at once. They settle into the warmth of the bar, chatting, laughing, and savoring the moment, knowing they’ll remember this day for a long time.

LOL!!

Hope this extended version gives you even more laughs! Have a fantastic day!!
